Self-Care Isn’t Selfish

QUESTION:

What did you do for you today?

If you’re walking into this week carrying the weight of the world, then you are effectually pouring from an empty cup.

Let that marinate.

If you are not fueling properly, resting well, smiling, laughing, breathing deeply... then you are starving yourself and stealing your success before you’ve even begun.

#SelfCare is not selfish. Self care is a mandate from your Creator to help you be all that you were designed to be.

Far too often, I hear my clients say: “I don’t have time.” In the words of Ray LaMontagne: “There's nothing in the world so sad as talking to a man who never knew his life was his for making.”

PLEASE hear me when I say that you can’t afford to dismiss your health. Self-care does not have to be complex. It can be as basic as taking 30 seconds in the middle of your day to close your eyes, breathe deeply, and thank your Maker for all your blessings. Take note of the emotions that you’re experiencing and dispose of anything that doesn’t serve you or your purpose on this Earth.

You do not have to accept the response of stress, anxiety, depression, crap food, and toxicity in your life. ⁣

Commit to yourself. Know your worth. If you need a little help getting there, speak up! We are honored to help.
