Meet Our Team

At GOOD MEDICINE, we believe in excellence, honor, and integrity – giving our best so you can give yours. Our team personifies all that is missing in health care today: passion, empowerment, genuine care, and mutual respect for each other as well as for those we serve. Each member of our team works to identify unearthed dysfunction and help you align with necessary lifestyle modifications to restore your body to its innate and proper function. Succinctly, GOOD MEDICINE exists to be the conduit for better health + wellness for those we serve.

Sarah Beasley (Luce)

DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, DipACLM

Dr. Beasley (Luce) is a passionate provider with a diverse health care background and demonstrated enthusiasm for quality care. She has had the privilege of serving a myriad of clients with unique health needs, in a variety of specialties (including but not limited to: functional + lifestyle medicine, otolaryngology, orthopedics, family medicine, allergy + immunology, etc.).

Most recently, Dr. Beasley serves as Founder of Good Medicine, a Functional + Lifestyle Medicine Wellness Center specializing in illness prevention, wellness promotion, comprehensive lab analysis, nutrient assessment and management, gut health, chronic inflammatory disorders, fatigue, sleep disturbances, hormone balancing, genetic testing, weight management, metabolic optimization, environmental toxicity assessment and management, behavioral and neurotransmitter support, adrenal support, performance optimization, and inhalant/food allergy testing and treatment.

A doctorate, board-certified Nurse Practitioner, and licensed through the Florida Board of Nursing, Dr. Beasely has been serving her community for nearly 20 years -- both within the clinical space and within a volunteer capacity. In addition, Dr. Beasley is involved in several professional organizations (including, but not limited to): the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners, Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, the Manatee Area Council of Advanced Nursing Practice, and President of the Sarasota County Nurse Practitioner Association. Adding to her work within the clinic, Dr. Beasley serves as adjunct professor for Florida State University, teaching in the Doctorate Nursing Practice (APRN, Family Medicine) and the Lifestyle Medicine programs.

Upon meeting, you will soon find Dr. Beasley to be quite passionate about creating positive change in the health care system. Conventional medicine that adopts the ‘name it, blame it, tame it’ principle often misses the mark and rarely addresses the root cause of illness. Our broken health care system is rarely interested in supporting your wellness, only early identification of and treatment of illness. However, brilliant minds [for centuries] have pointed to alternate means of treating dis-ease in the body through true prevention and natural cures (Osler, Edison, Hippocrates, etc.). While we honor various approaches to healing and wellness at Good Medicine, we believe that a collaborative approach often meets the clients’ unique needs, that food is medicinal, and balance is essential to wellness. We consider it an honor to serve our clients in their healing journey.

When Dr. Beasley is not caring for her valued clients or teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, regular morning workouts, yoga, hiking, making/eating whole and delicious foods, medical missions (both locally and abroad), and travel.

Ashley Brower
